Toro Launches Next-generation Workman® LTX Utility Vehicle

Jun 17, 2026  |   Golf  |

BLOOMINGTON, Minn. (June 2026)— The Toro Company, a leading worldwide provider of innovative solutions for the outdoor environment, has announced the launch of the Toro® Workman® LTX, the next generation of its light-duty utility vehicle range.

Designed for golf courses, sports facilities, estates, campuses and municipal environments, the LTX has been developed around a range of sites rather than a single operating scenario. That could mean early morning maintenance, moving materials during an event build, or supporting logistics across large sites where priorities can shift quickly.

Power choice is central to the LTX, giving operators the choice between either a Briggs & Stratton® Vanguard® EFI petrol engine or Toro’s HyperCell® lithium system to suit their operational needs. On lithium models, two batteries are supplied as standard, with the option to add a third for extended runtime when required.

The range has also been developed with operator comfort in mind, with rack and pinion steering reducing effort during repeated manoeuvring, and coil-over shocks and suspension to smooth rough ground and reduce fatigue. Hydraulic disc brakes are fitted as standard for consistent stopping performance, and lithium models include an electronic parking brake for added convenience in frequent stop-start use.

Inside the operator area, a redesigned dashboard provides a clear LCD display and simplified controls, alongside USB-A and USB-C charging ports to support the growing use of devices for communication and scheduling on site.

Marissa Garin, Product Marketing Manager, at The Toro Company said: “We’re seeing the expectations of utility vehicles shift as teams look to balance operational pressures with factors such as comfort, safety, flexibility and productivity. That’s why the LTX is focused on making the vehicle more comfortable, more practical to operate and better suited to the variety of work grounds teams are dealing with today. Every part of it answers real operational needs.”

First shown publicly at BTME 2026 in Harrogate and subsequently presented at the GCSAA Conference and Trade Show in the United States, the LTX has drawn interest from course managers, superintendents and grounds professionals on both sides of the Atlantic. It also sits within Toro’s wider vehicles campaign, which shifts attention towards the people and teams working behind the scenes and the role equipment plays in helping them keep complex sites running smoothly.

Available globally through the Toro distributor network, the LTX comes in several configurations – standard height, lifted and extended – and is designed to sit across a fleet where different vehicles support different tasks.
